Question 1: How much protein does my teen really need?

The amount of protein your teen needs depends on their age, weight and gender. Inside the toolkit I have a protein calculator that shows you exactly how much protein your teen needs and how to get it!

Question 2: How do I know they’re getting enough?

Protein deficiency shows up in a number of ways. Inside the toolkit is a nutrient deficiency guide which shows you common signs of nutrient deficiency and how to fix it. Low energy and lethargy are very common signs of poor protein intake that we see in teens but there are other signs too and these are included in the toolkit.

Question 3: Will this work for picky eaters?

When following a plant based diet, it is important to eat a wide variety of foods to ensure all nutritional needs are being met. The recipes in the toolkit have been teen tested and you will find a variety of recipes to help you find ones that suit your child or teen's food preferences.
